Job Description

Zipdev is looking for a talented Medical Virtual Assistant to join our remote team and collaborate with a US-based client. As Virtual assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice. You will perform administrative tasks, manage patient records, and assist with medical terminology-related duties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as virtual front desk and admin support for her clinic, answering phones, emails, scheduling patients, uploading labs, checking legal docs, following up with patients for labs, etc.
  • Managing calendar as a high-level exec assistant.
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other team members.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and promotional campaigns to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters.
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments, accessing telehealth services, and navigating healthcare portals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or medical office environment.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant
  • Proficiency in Google Suite: Google Calendar and Google Drive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in marketing or customer support roles is preferred.
  • Currently living in Latin America

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Experience in social media advertising.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of healthcare practices and procedures.
