Drone Pilot

MadLab, a company that specializes in building and helping various businesses grow, is seeking a talented drone pilot in Costa Rica to work on Livestreams and aerial videography. The successful candidate should be highly skilled and responsible with a vast experience in drone flying and an adept knowledge of videography best practices.

• Master the operation of drones to capture aerial photographs and videography.
• Collaborate with the team to develop shot lists, storyboards and other modes of artistic visualizations that exemplify the company and its clients’ objectives.
• Ensure operational safety while flying the drone.
• Be able to troubleshoot technical problems with drones and related filming equipment.
• Ensure that all footage is of high quality and adheres to the highest standards in the industry.
• Assist the editing team with feedback on footage captured and provide suggestions on what will work best for efficient and engaging final products.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in drone flying and aerial photography.
• Extensive knowledge of safety protocols related to drone flying and equipment maintenance.
• Must possess a drone flying certificate that is valid in Costa Rica or be willing to get one.
• Must be familiar with commercial and non-commercial drones, and their equipment.
• Great communicational and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the team and clients.
