Job Description

FreeBalance is seekingcandidatesto work on a project on contract in Costa Rica as aDigital Transformation and/or User Experience Expert for Financial Management (AF) and Human Resources (TH).Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the project with a deep transversal approach and in defense of the priority approach to the citizen, and at the same time of institutional change and/or improvement.
  • Advocate for the needs of end users (i.e. citizens, businesses, other public officials), and contribute to the project by acting as a persuasive advocate for those needs, providing this perspective to MH decision makers.
  • Apply methodologies for the development and implementation of user experience research and service design mechanisms to build a deep knowledge base about users, their needs and their context to be used as the main input in the final design of digital services as part of the Core system implementation.
  • Mentor internal MH counterparts, so that service/product managers in the PA and HT area learn how to maintain the best quality standards in terms of user experience in digital services.
  • Participation in meetings established under the project governance model.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology management, innovation management, information science engineering, economics, industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Digital Transformation Expert.
  • Have participated in at least 3 public sector projects in one of the following areas: Design and Evaluation of Digital Services, Digital Transformation Maturity Assessment, or Organizational Change Management towards a digital culture.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
