This role is responsible for the planning, execution and maintenance of the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. Coordinates and supports the construction and remodeling processes of the Costa Rica facilities. May provide support to other expansion projects oversees. Some key responsibilities of this position includegt;
- Coordinate purchase and maintenance of office furniture.
- Works together with the occupational safety personnel to provide proper waste management.
- Design, propose and implement projects, seeking the best use of space within the facilities.
- Lead the process of planning, coordination and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work. (Scheduled stoppages, Shutdown, Blackouts and others)
- Maintain and analyze the report of the indicators, metrics and trends of the facility systems, and propose improvements regarding the data.
- Work together with the warehouse to optimize inventory levels and always guarantee the availability of spare parts.
- Generate cost reductions through technical improvements in equipment, processes and/or services.
- Support in the preparation of estimates and budgets for remodeling and improvement projects.
- Supervise remodeling projects, construction and/or any modification that is made to the facilities. Verify that the jobs have run successfully.
Requirements
- 5-year facilities/maintenance experience in a controlled manufacturing/industry environment.
- Experience in managing contractors and staff supervision.
- Experience in supervision and management of construction / remodeling projects. (2000 m2)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (ie mechanical, electrical, materials, industrial engineering or science-related engineering discipline)
- Advanced level of English (C1 on the Belt scale)
- Knowledge and management of schedule programming software (MS Project or similar)
