INTRODUCTION
The Central Technology Support (CTS) team provides end-to-end support for the applications delivered by Dentons global technology transformation programs, including Finance, Risk, and Talent. This is a high impact role and critical to the success of the transformation programs.

ROLE
Dentons is currently recruiting a Global 3E Application Specialist to support the implementation and ongoing running of a significant global Finance transformation early benefits initiative that supports cross regional billing: IVB. The IVB system is built on a Thomson Reuters 3E platform. In addition, the role will provide ongoing application and infrastructure support expertise.
This position will work alongside the existing project team through the final stages of testing and then take responsibility for the solution’s ongoing maintenance, and environment. Once the early benefit IVB is live this role will support the business in the operation of the IVB service whilst working with the relevant stakeholders in the Firmwide Finance Transformation program to transition the IVB solution to the new practice management system, being delivered as part of that program.
The role will report to the Global 3E Technical Product Owner and work closely with teams including teams within Global Business Technology, Power Apps and PowerBI platform teams. It will also interface with global stakeholders and teams to provide ongoing support and development of this business-critical solution. The role is 100% remote requiring an extremely self-motived and driven individual who thrives on building strong collaborative networks.
As the 3E Application Specialist you will be joining the Global Application Management Team withing Central Technology Support service at an exciting time. Having delivered the first of the early benefits initiatives associated with the Firmwide Finance Transformation program, Dentons are looking to embed this initiative, IVB, into the business, and continue to not only support it in the day to day operational sphere but also to enhance the effectiveness of that solution.
As a polycentric organization Dentons this role will interface with global/regional stakeholders, global/regional subject matter experts, global/regional PMO and global/regional change teams to support regional alignment and adoption.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsibility for the IVB (including its 3E) environment
- Support of the IVB project as it transitions through Go live and into production
- Ongoing support of the IVB solution to ensure it remains operational and meets users’ requirements.
- Ensuring the Infrastructure and Environment on which IVB resides remains stable, fit for purpose and complies with industry best practices
- Upgrade: ensure the platform remains on supported technologies
- Delivery of technical documentation to support the environment
- Support the ongoing maintenance and Environments of the IVB solution through EVT, UAT and Go live and beyond
- Working with the SI/developer to transition development knowledge and troubleshooting capability, creating and maintaining documentation for the solution
- Working with Global Technology and the Finance Transformation Environments teams to ensure the IVB platform aligns with Dentons principles
- Working with the IVB Product Owner to provide appropriate levels of assurances for the solution’s stability
- Working with the Global 3E Technical Product Owner and Global Integration Lead to ensure data flows accurately, securely and completely across the system
- Working with the IVB Solution Product Owner to provide support to the project team, and then to business users as required.
- Support IVB Solution Product Owner in the oversight of the strategic backlogs to ensure that priorities are identified for development 3 to 6 months in advance.
- Working with Security teams to ensure compliance with the firm’s security policies
- Provide Dentons with subject matter expertise for the ongoing development of environment best practices across Dentons
- Identification and resolution of issues and appropriate escalation to management where necessary.
- Create, document and build a knowledge hub to disseminate key knowledge and information
